About the role:
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a visionary and strategic thinker to join the executive leadership team as the Chief of Financial Insights and Operations. The Chief of Financial Insights and Operations is responsible for financial and fiscal management aspects of the organization by serving as a strategic partner in finance, accounting, and actuary functions. They oversee and manage risks associated with capital and resources. The CFIO acts as an executive leader supporting the growth, development, and engagement of the department and organization.
Duties and responsibilities:
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Monitor and make recommendations regarding organizational revenue and expenses. Oversee and prepare budget to achieve organizational goals.
Provide projections and trend information for budget, capital management, and financial reporting. Support organizational directives through business leadership; emphasizing customer focus, strategic insights, and interdepartmental collaboration. Leads and oversees cross-functional project teams change management approaches. Supports and emphasizes the customer experience in process design and system configuration.
Experience:
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelors degree in accounting, business, finance, or related field 10 years’ experience as a senior finance leader, executive, or similar role.
Ability to lead cross-functional projects and team.
Connection or interest to “not for profit work”
Experience in leading and supporting growth in a customer experience culture.
Compensation:
COMPENSATION, BENEFITS & PERKS
Base Salary Target: $225,000 to $300,000. Excellent health insurance including dental, vision, life, long-term disability and more. Flexible spending accounts for dependent care and medical expenses. Public employees’ retirement plan with an 8.97% employer contribution when you contribute 7.9% of pretax income. Optional 457(b) deferred compensation to further increase retirement savings.
