ABOUT THE ROLE Join a dynamic super regional property casualty insurance organization with a 140-year history of providing exceptional customer service to its policyholders. Known for their robust employee benefits and fun, family-like work culture. We seek a Commercial Casualty Claims professional to work remote from their residence. The Commercial Casualty Technical Claims Specialist will investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and settle serious injury/damage claims involving moderate to large loss exposures in multi-jurisdictions.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Analyze coverage as it relates to the facts and allegations of the claim. Prepare Reservation of Rights and Declination of Coverage letters. Identify serious injury/damage losses and report them timely to upper management, reinsurers. Work closely with defense counsel in the defense of all litigated claims. Negotiate claim settlements; attend mediations, settlement conferences and trials.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE General liability, Casualty, or Commercial Auto experience required. 2+ years of litigation management experience. Demonstrates experience or ability to deal with significant/complex coverage matters. Excellent written and oral communication skills.

COMPENSATION $85,000 to $90,000. Bonus. Competitive benefits.
