ABOUT THE ROLE
Are you passionate about helping others protect what matters most? Our client is a small community-focused insurance agency specializing in farm, homeowners, private passenger auto insurance and small commercial businesses. We’ve partnered with them to help them hire a motivated, customer-oriented Insurance Agency Manager & Sales Agent to provide support and guidance to the client’s team, drive business growth, and oversee day-to-day operations.
Duties and responsibilities:
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Proactively engage with prospects to sell new insurance policies, focusing on farm, homeowners, and auto coverage. Serve as a trusted advisor to existing customers, managing policy changes, resolving issues, and ensuring a high level of client satisfaction.
Clearly explain insurance policies, coverage options, and benefits to both clients and agency staff, ensuring everyone has a strong understanding of products and services.
Oversee and manage a team of agents and customer service staff across four locations. Provide guidance, training, and support to ensure the team meets performance and service goals.
Experience:
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Deep understanding of Property & Casualty insurance products.
Previous experience managing a team, with the ability to coach and motivate.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to identify issues, propose solutions, and resolve problems quickly and efficiently.
Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for building relationships with clients and colleagues alike.
Compensation:
$100,000 to $110,000 (first year composed on base + bonus. Subsequent years open to discussion. No set financial arrangement as client open to creating a comp plan that suits the employee best.)
