The Head of Growth, Reinsurance & Program Development will be a key strategic partner to the CEO, leading cross-functional initiatives that drive the creation and management of programs. This role will focus on expanding and strengthening the client’s portfolio of insurance products, reinsurance treaties, and capacity partnerships
Duties and responsibilities:
Partner with the CEO and leadership team to develop and expand portfolio of insurance programs. Drive the analysis, marketing, placement and administration of reinsurance treaties. Oversee the buying and annual negotiation processes of reinsurance treaties. Develop and maintain relationships with reinsurance brokers, underwriters, and the program administration industry. Anticipate and interpret market dynamics to maintain the best position possible. Serve as a key advisor to the CEO, providing critical insights and strategic recommendations regarding the insurance portfolio.
Experience:
Minimum 5 years of experience in the commercial lines property casualty insurance industry, with a strong track record of leadership and relationship-building. Proven experience in reinsurance program design, analysis, placement, and execution across multiple property & casualty segments including admitted and surplus lines, and package and monoline offerings. Strong financial acumen with deep knowledge of reinsurance coverage. Proven collaboration skills to align diverse teams, including appointed reinsurance brokers. Highly developed analytical, decision-making, and strategic thinking skills, with keen attention to detail.
Compensation:
$150,000 to $175,000 + bonus + equity(all-in $220k)
