ABOUT THE ROLE
Our client is dedicated to delivering auto insurance solutions tailored to drivers' unique needs and to customer satisfaction with innovative technology. They continue to grow which has created the need to add a sales/business development professional in Texas. The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of the independent insurance agent/broker relationship by providing best in class service with an emphasis on increasing production and expand agent base.
Duties and responsibilities:
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Work with agents ensuring they have acceptable loss ratios and claims frequencies.
Bring new ideas and awareness to what competitors provide including their products, their strengths, weaknesses and regulatory issues that may impact production.
Manage all aspects of the independent insurance agent/broker relationship by providing best in class service.
Increase production and expand agent base.
Experience:
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
5+ years experience in a similar role calling on retail agencies.
Bilingual in Spanish/English preferred
Experience in insurance industry, specifically dealing with program business and an understanding of the non-standard automobile industry.
Self-motivated with strong selling skills.
Strong prospecting, presentation and client relationship skills.
Experienced in independently determining priorities and goals and exercising independent judgment.
Compensation:
Base + bonus + competitive benefits
