About the role:
Our client is dedicated to delivering auto insurance solutions tailored to drivers' unique needs and to customer satisfaction with innovative technology. Continued growth has created the need to add an Actuarial Analyst to their team. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Actuarial Analyst to support pricing and reserve analysis for their Private Passenger Auto line of business. This individual will develop and maintain pricing models, contribute to reserve studies, and help drive profitability through accurate forecasts and sound actuarial judgment.
Duties and responsibilities:
Develop and refine pricing models for personal auto products. Assist in the preparation of rate filings, actuarial memorandums, and regulatory support documents. Support quarterly and annual reserve analysis for personal auto liabilities. Analyze loss and premium trends to support strategic decision-making. Collaborate with product, underwriting, and claims teams to evaluate business performance.
Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or related field. 3+ years of actuarial experience within personal auto. Completion of at least 1–3 actuarial exams. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical modeling skills. Proficiency with Excel; experience with SQL, R, Python, or actuarial software. Strong communication skills with ability to present technical concepts clearly.
Compensation:
$90,000 to $120,000
