We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Business Analyst with a broad insurance background. The ideal candidate will have experience in the warranty and affinity business, a strong understanding of business processes and IT, and the ability to translate business needs into functional requirements. This role requires consulting skills, including stakeholder engagement and presentation development, to support strategic decision-making and operational improvements.

Analyze and document business processes within the insurance sector, focusing on warranty and affinity programs. Act as a liaison between business and IT teams, ensuring that technology solutions align with operational needs. Gather, define, and document business requirements, translating them into actionable solutions for development teams. Evaluate system capabilities and identify gaps, proposing enhancements to improve efficiency and business performance. Prepare presentations and reports to communicate findings, recommendations, and project updates to stakeholders. Support process optimization initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and recommending improvements.

3-5 years of experience in the insurance industry, preferably within warranty or affinity business models. Strong understanding of insurance operations, underwriting, claims, and policy administration systems. Experience working in business process analysis, system implementation, or IT consulting within an insurance environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong PowerPoint (deck preparation) and Excel skills. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings to stakeholders at various levels. Experience with business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and SQL knowledge is a plus.

$90,000 to $120,000(paid hourly on contract)
