With a singular focus on providing the best workers compensation service and solutions for their agency partners and insureds, this regional carrier continues to post strong results. They work with small-to-medium size independent agency partners, and offer on-line quoting, exceptional service, competitive rates, and technology with a personal touch. Their approach places them in a position to offer several opportunities to join their organization in a Marketing Representative/Business Development Manager role. The Marketing Representative/Business Development Manager represents the client to the independent retail agency plant within their state. This includes interacting with existing contracted agency partners as well the development and appointment of new agency partners.
Duties and responsibilities:
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Cultivate and maintain relationships with retail independent agents.
Regularly visit agency partners within the assigned territory.
Identify, develop, and expand new business opportunities with independent agents.
Support agents in developing effective marketing strategies and sales techniques.
Experience:
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Client has in-depth training program so open to more junior level experience to someone with more senior level experience and independent agency relationships.
Self-motivation and a strong work ethic.
Comfortable with agency entertainment such as sporting events, golf, etc.
Background with work comp insurance ideal.
Compensation:
COMPENSATION
$60,000 to $135,000, Incentive Compensation Plan, company vehicle, all technology provided for a home office. Generous 401k Plan. Fridays off during summer. Plus more.
